Which size should I choose? Birdie hat sizes are based on head circumference and come in two sizes: 52 cm and 56 cm. Choose size 52 for children with a head circumference of 49-52 cm (ages 1-3), and size 56 for children with a head circumference of 53-56 cm (ages 4-8). For the best fit, measure your child's head circumference at the forehead with a tape measure.
